Magna Holdings is a forward thinking firm that has been developing property in Yorkshire, and beyond, since 1978.
Our forte is finding sustainable uses for 'difficult' developments. Our philosophy is to bring the new from the old, creating contemporary uses for historic landmarks. Many of our developments once played a major role in the region's industrial heritage and we excel at bringing these sites back to life. This approach is reflected in developments such as Dalton Mills in Keighley, the Charles Roberts Office Park in Wakefield and The Gaslight.
We also create modern buildings on urban sites, suitable for today's fast paced lifestyle, such as Brodrick Court in Leeds and Magna Plaza in Wakefield city centre.
Our developments play a valuable role in regeneration schemes around Yorkshire – Dalton Mills is a key project in the Airedale Masterplan, and Magna Plaza is adjacent to the high proFile Trinity Walk development in Wakefield.
The key to our success is moving with the times and capitalising on new trends in the property market. Currently, we are developing a larger number of rural, self build developments in West Yorkshire. We believe the self build market is likely to keep growing, in spite of the current climate and we always use our expertise to stay ahead of the game.
Magna is also helping to foster entrepreneurial spirit in the region, with affordable, flexible office space to rent in Wakefield, Bradford and Barnsley.
Our greatest asset is our skilled and dedicated workforce, who are all committed to keeping their skills fresh and up-to-date. We are also proud of the strong working partnerships that we have forged with excellent architects, planners, contractors and the region's various development agencies.
The key personnel at Magna Holdings are:
Terry Hodgkinson – Chairman
Martin Whiteley – Managing Director
Digby Lovel – Development Director
Chris Lee – Senior Management Surveyor
Linda Cook – Property Services Manager
Jackie England – PA/Development Co-Ordinator
Jay Moynihan - Accounts Assistant
