| Development | Immingham |
| Type | B1/B2/B8, industrial and warehousing |
| Location | Adjacent to Immingham docks |
| Description | 70 acres |
Planning Permission was granted for this £50 million industrial and warehousing development, next to Immingham docks, in June. The site, just off Queen’s Road spans 800,000 sq ft, and is expected to create 1200 jobs. The scheme is in an ideal position for end-users, directly adjacent to the rail freight terminal at Immingham Port. It’s location offers unparalleled transport links to the whole of the UK and Europe. Immingham is the largest UK port by tonnage, and it handled 58m tonnes of cargo in 2007. This development has access to excellent transport links, positioned next to the Immingham Rail Freight Terminal.
It also falls within North East Lincolnshire Council’s Eastgate masterplan, which has designated a further 650 acres in the area as part of the port.
The masterplan aims to remove restrictions on distribution operations using public roads, making the distribution of cargo quicker and more affordable.
The Queen’s Road development at Immingham has attracted a great deal of interest from end-users. For more information about this scheme, please contact Digby Lovel on 01924 366600 or fill in the form on this page.
